For them we are currently seeking a Solutions Architect to help them continue to deliver exceptional, web-based, technical solutions to their clients' problems. In addition to making clients' lives easier through technology, you will also be highly involved in continuously improving the technical strategy of various lines of business and help shape the overall technical strategy for them.
Your role:
- Your day in the life will be varied. You will work with meltmedia's business development team to outline viable solutions for potential clients
- You will work with established cross-discipline teams as they take your visions and make them their own, while ensuring the deliverables ultimately solve the clients' problems
- You will also be expected to share your knowledge with your teammates, mentoring others through the challenges you have previously faced
What you’ve got:
- The right candidate will have extensive experience in the trenches, developing custom software solutions for clients. You will be an expert translator, from the clients' high level visions, into low-level technical details, and back
- You are the type of person who has a strong desire to sit face-to-face with the client to understand their pain, while also needing to write some code from time-to-time
- You understand there are often simple technical solutions to what may seem like unsurmountable problems to our clients. You thrive on making people's lives easier
- This is a cloud-first shop. You will have extensive knowledge in the full AWS stack. Ideally you’ve even jumped through the hoops of being officially certified as an AWS Solutions Architect
- Our solutions vary based on the needs of our clients. We tend to develop custom solutions around our clients existing investments in products such as Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal 8, Veeva, Salesforce, and Pardot. Any experience with these platforms would be highly beneficial
- Our custom solutions are a polyglot approach that may use Java, client and server-side JavaScript, Python, and PHP, depending on the needs of each project. We don’t believe in having a client spend more money than necessary, therefore we prefer “serverless” solutions when appropriate
- As a Solutions Architect, there will be ample opportunity to introduce new and better technology, techniques, and solutions that grow our expertise and ultimately provide better solutions for our clients
- Your prior experiences and the impact you personally had on the outcomes of those solutions, good and bad, will ultimately be the most important factor in determining if you are the right person for this role
