Your new role
- Coordinates Software Integration activities, establishes priorities and integration logical diagrams, conducts tests, supports factory and site acceptance tests as well as commissioning, analyses results and transmits them to development teams.
- Co-ordinate and maintain vehicle platform software for each variant as provide by suppliers
- Develop vehicle simulation software using our clients preferred software package
- Develop Software integration environment to provide the appropriate configuration control of supplier software
- To Spec, design, code and unit test software components in accordance with engineering change requests, assigned by the Electrical & C4I PIT Lead as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualification in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Mechatronic or Software
- Suitable experience in software management and design life cycles
- Sound fundamental knowledge of electronic systems, able to design HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems and elements for military & specialist vehicles with limited guidance
- Understanding of data buses and protocols including SAE J1939 CAN and Ethernet
- Understanding of EMI (electromagnetic interference)
- Knowledge of DOORS application tools, and C++
- BASELINE CLEARANCE
