The CDN Origin team is hiring a motivated, versatile software engineer to help us implement a cloud solution.This is one of our most successful products and is expected to drive significant revenue in 2018. Ideal candidates will be proficient software engineers with practical experience with cloud technologies. We are a highly collaborative team that rely upon individual leadership and appreciate opinions from all members. We leverage modern technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

Requirements
-Strong object-oriented programming ability with 5+ years' experience (prefer Java or similar)
-Experience with JavaScript (Node.js a plus)
-Demonstrable proficiency with CI/CD tools and processes
- Practical experience deploying and operating software, defining application metrics and troubleshooting live service issues
- Capable of working independently,being aself-starter and collaborative
- Willingness to be on-call to support our customers
Nice to Have:
-Exposureto high throughput, customer-facing services and CDN
-Experience developing and operatingdistributedweb services
- Practical experience with Splunk, Apache, NGINX
-Knowledge of cloud infrastructure includingAWS,Docker, Kubernetes
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identifyand analyzeproduct and technical requirements
- Designand implementnew software/ solutions andmaintain existing services in production
- Design and execute performance and stress tests, analyze results and optimize software and systems
-Write and editinternaldocumentation including software designdocuments,technologyevaluations,test plans and results, readmes and how-to guides
-Stay abreast of the industry, competitors' products and customers' needs and use cases
- Work jointly with teammates as necessary; pair-programming, planning work, mentoring and analyzing outcomes
Job Specification:
