This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and JPMC policies
Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
Experience working in two or more of the following areas (encourage applying to this role if you have good core experience in at least 2 areas):
Web application development (Angular.js, Node.js, J2EE, Javascript); Unix/Linux environments; Cloud native applications (AWS, CloudFoundry); Relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB); Machine learning; Data structures and algorithms; Mobile application development; Cybersecurity
Experience combining software and systems engineering to design solutions in physical, virtual and cloud environments that automate metrics and event collection/correlation across distributed architectures, fault detection, containment, and resolution without customer impact or human intervention
Experience in DevOps, automated random fault injection, and self-healing
Full understanding of the hardware and software architecture of the applications within the end to end business flow
