We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to become an integral part of the LJSA retail consulting team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying custom solutions and specialized utility programs for the benefit of a retail client.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other data scientists, software engineers, and business partners
- Develop AI/machine learning solutions targeted towards disruptive opportunities for Client’s business, based on computer vision, image processing, neural networks, etc.
- Build quick Proof of Concepts (POC) and project ownership around projects that can demonstrate utilization, value and lead to scalable solutions
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on developments in the field and propose recommended upgrades to optimize operational and application efficiency
- Perform routine software maintenance
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience in AI, Machine Learning, Software Development, Computer Engineering, or other related fields
- Strong experience in Machine Learning, Neural Networks/Deep Learning, Computer Vision/Image Processing
- Strong knowledge and experience with Linux, Python or R, and TensorFlow or Darknet
- Experience with C# and C++
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- U.S. Citizen or work authorization required
