MERGE is a VR/AR company focused on pushing the boundaries of imagination and technology. We’re merging the physical and digital worlds, building new types of games, toys, and experiences for everyone, ages 10 and up.
We’re searching for a UNITY 3D DEVELOPER that will be an integral part of our software development team, conceptualizing, prototyping, and producing AR/VR games and experiences for mobile platforms. This mid-level, full-time role is located along the iconic Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, TX.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Extensive knowledge of Unity and C#
- Solid understanding of object oriented programing
- Mobile Development Experience on iOS / Android
- Knowledge of version control
- Experience in all aspects of game development
- Solid understanding of working with 3D space and assets
- Active awareness of current trends in mobile and digital experiences
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Superb debugging skills
- Passion for Virtual & Augmented Reality
Typical duties include:
- Building virtual reality and augmented reality apps using Unity and C#
- Researching and implementing new and innovative ways of using mobile for VR and AR
- Collaborating with artists and designers to help develop new features, and contributing original ideas towards all aspects of production and development
- Creating production quality, bug-free code
- Keeping up to date with the technological developments and advancements in VR/AR and in mobile game development
