Weld makes it possible for anyone to develop websites and app without coding!
Well only 0.5% can code. So we built a tool for all the rest—a codefree web and app creation tool for everyone. Specifically,
- Marketing teams that want to create animated, interactive web content.
- Designers who wants to showcase their work.
- University admins to design their home pages.
More than 30000 users that use Weld says that, we’re great.
Even Whirlpool, Polarn o. Pyret and Berghs School of Communication are amongst our user base.
What’s happening now?
We are growing and we’re looking for our javascript developer to grow together. Weld is a front-end heavy platform with 100% of our dev in javascript.
With an expanding user base, we’re evolving our product to the next level adding several new features like a GUI for building a simple backend and more live collaboration functionality a la Google Docs.
Our vision is to build a platform in which every software product from website to app can be designed and deployed without coding.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled JavaScript developer who has worked with the web for quite some time and knows it’s limitations and possibilities. You will be the third member of our development team and have a big influence in developing our platform further. We expect you to be a self-starter but also a good communicator and teammate.
You need a deep understanding of JavaScript. This is a diverse role with varying tasks, examples include:
- Work with the team all the way from modeling a feature/service to building it, to deploying it.
- Building a Node.js microservice from scratch.
- Solving bugs and improving the general quality of our main AngularJS app.
- Developing custom objects in Weld using JavaScript and HTML.
Bonus if you’re experienced with:
- AngularJS
- React
- Node.js
- Firebase
- MongoDB
- Microservice architecture
- Scalability
- Security
- UX
- CSS/SCSS
