Head of Software Development (m/f)
Job Description:
- Professional and disciplinary personnel management of our 8-member development team
- Making design decisions on the system architecture, frameworks, tools and conventions that we apply
- Supporting the other team members hands on and promote learning and knowledge transfer.
- Determine the product roadmap based on business impact together with our Product Owner
- Ensure a productive agile development process including QA and design that minimizes overhead for your team
- Represent the software development in our Management Board towards other departments and stakeholders
- Organization of trainings and team buildings events
- Direct report and cooperation with our CTO
Skills and Requirements:
- Passion for finding elegant technological solutions
- Experience in leading, managing and motivating a cross-functional development team
- Deep technical knowledge of software architecture, development and web technologies (esp. .NET Framework, SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Experience with cloud architectures (in our case MS Azure)
- A good sense for technology trends and the ability to apply them in practice
- Experience in designing DevOps processes
- Hands-on mentality and team spirit
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical staff
- Excellent English skills required
- German is a plus, but not mandatory
