You’ll be working with our team of engineers, designers, and content curators to make incredible new products. You'll build beautiful web apps and APIs from the ground up with React, Django, and other technologies - this means building web-based tools for internal use, as well as public-facing apps and static sites. You'll participate in making high-level decisions regarding tech strategy, infrastructure, and architecture.
Our primary stack is Python/Django/Postgres on the back-end and React/Redux on the front-end with node.js and webpack. Our cloud infrastructure includes Docker, CI/CD and AWS.
ABOUT YOU
We are open to junior through senior level applicants.
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience as a software developer
- You are passionate about writing clean, readable, and performant code
You are constantly learning about and experimenting with bleeding-edge web technologies
You know Python, Ruby, or Java and have worked with at least one major back-end, MVC architecture such as Django, Rails or Spring
You know JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and have worked with at least one major front-end architecture such as React, Angular, or Vue
You understand how to write an API and have strong opinions about API design
You are familiar with Docker and continuous development processes and have worked with AWS
You can implement a UI design in a pixel-perfect way
You are comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment
