Fast growth in our product means we are looking for top people to join our ThreadFix team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the engineering of our application infrastructure and development and delivery models. You will be responsible for making ThreadFix easier to test and deploy and, most importantly, easy for our customers to set up, configure, and update. You will work and collaborate with a great team of technology enthusiasts, with the support of the technical and business leadership.

You’ll definitely need

  • Proficiency with continuous integration, Linux/Windows, cloud computing, containers, scripting and configuration management tools

    • We are a large-scale Java web application built on the Spring framework

    • We use Jenkins for CI

    • We support Linux and Windows deployments with MySQL and SQL Server databases

  • Superior problem solving skills...

    • Think about an enterprise web application with 30+ third-party integrations.

    • Now think about all the cool things you can do to automate that application infrastructure from development to delivery.

    • Not to mention the possibilities with deployment management for an on-premises and cloud platform solution

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment (it's a product in a competitive landscape)

  • Interest in application security and security testing tools

  • Computer Science or related 4-year degree

You’ll blow our minds if you have

  • Experience in packaged web-based products

  • Experience in cloud-based/SaaS software

  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (like Selenium, JUnit) and profiling tools (such as JProfiler)

  • The ability to quickly learn new technologies
