BACKEND ENGINEER (full-time, m/f)
As our Backend Engineer you maintain and build up our backend – the backbone of our app used by millions of users. You’ll develop backend services as the foundation for existing and new features and make sure they run smoothly and reliably. We are looking for a passionate individual, ready for a challenge and able to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. We encourage to push comfort zones and welcome our Backend Engineer to discover the world of iOS and Android development.

- Improving our Infrastructure as Code approach by marrying Docker to Terraform
- Employing Machine Learning and Big Data Algorithms to stumble upon interesting questions to ask and finding their answers
- Making our backend resilient and scalable to tens of millions of users by adopting our Microservices swarm to CQRS and message queuing
Skills & experiences exciting to us…
- A passion for mobile technologies and interest in mobile wallets
- Excellent coding skills as well as experience with JavaScript and node.js
- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Work or project-related experience with backend development
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
- First contact with iOS or Android development (or the motivation to work with it), experience with Docker is a plus
