As an Associate Technical Writer, you will be responsible for producing product documentation per documentation plan, process, and standards.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Works on problems of limited scope and interactions are primarily within the department. Responsible for one assignment at a time.
- Develops content as requested by more senior members of the team. Requires detailed instructions on all assignments.
- Performs research, gathers information, and verifies accuracy of content.
- Learning authoring tools, writing and communication best practices, Citrix technologies, and socialization to editing/technical review process but still requires ongoing coaching/training in these areas. Gaining experience paying attention to detail and the ability to adhere to agreed upon schedules.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, Experience)
- Currently pursuing a degree in English, journalism, technical writing, or a related field.
- Aptitude or experience in information development/writing in a related field.
