To support our IT infrastructure, we are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our established IT/R&D team. The successful candidate will possess a professional attitude, strong work ethic and an aptitude for complex problem solving. This role calls for someone who has previous experience working in an IT support role in an SME and the ability to operate as an all-round IT support person, initially working Tier 1 with role expansion through to Tier 3.
You will be involved in:
- Supporting onsite network infrastructure in a mixed OS environment
- Providing first call general IT support to Nightlife Music employees
- Active Directory maintenance and administration
- Maintaining backups and offsite archiving
- Infrastructure projects
- Documentation of infrastructure and processes
- Hands on custom server and workstation hardware maintenance
Selection Criteria – to be considered for this role, please attach a cover letter addressing the following:
- 2 years' experience in an IT Support role
- Certifications in CCNA or MCSA preferable
- Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems
- Periodic on-call availability
- Ability to swiftly learn new software and technology, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- Proven time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
- Demonstrated experience providing low to medium-level IT support
