You will join GLAMSQUAD as a Cloud Infrastructure/Release Management Engineer on a growing team of dedicated engineers. You will be responsible for implementing, managing and monitoring the Amazon infrastructure for our internal operational system and client-facing website. In addition, you will help maintain the testing and build environment and create and deploy software releases for our web and mobile applications. This is an outstanding opportunity to learn, work with a proven development team and get involved with various projects and technologies.
You have a passion for building scalable, cloud-based architectures utilizing Amazon technologies (EC2, ELB, EB, Route 53, S3, RDS). You are familiar with instance sizing, capacity planning, request monitoring, auto-scaling and security. In addition, you are comfortable with continuous integration environments, git and production code deployment. You have an in-depth knowledge of automation tools, either off-the-shelf or scripted, that are used to support testing, software release creation and other tasks of the engineering team.
You will be in charge of all aspects of our infrastructure and software releases and will be relied on as a technical leader who can design and implement solutions that adhere to operational best practices. You will also have a role in troubleshooting and resolving production issues when they arise.
