We are looking for a Team Lead of Internal IT, to take ownership of the network and systems in our office in Berlin. This role has significant responsibility of not only systems and technology, but also team leadership. In this position you will define and implement best practices to insure our team has the technology resources needed to be successful.
Your profile
- More than 2 years of network and system administration experience in a heterogeneous environment (Windows, MacOS and Linux Laptops and Desktops as well as Android and iOS mobile devices)
- Service oriented - Focus on providing team with necessary resources while maintaining security and reliability
- You are able to prioritize multiple concurrent requests, and balance strategic improvements and projects vs. tactical day to day tasks
- You speak English fluently, knowledge in German is a plus
Your Tasks & Responsibility
- Lead a small team of system administrators responsible for the following:
- Computers - Laptops, Desktops, mobile devices and servers
- Network - Firewall, switches, Wifi, WAN, and VPN
- Phones - SIP Software, phone devices, configurations
- AV - projectors, screens, conference phones and cameras
- Other hardware - Printers, file servers, monitors
- Software - OS, Anti virus, Productivity, patches, Virtualization, backups, etc.
- Develop and implement strategies for managing devices including inventory, software installation, upgrades, patches, etc.
- Setting standards for the use of software/hardware/networks company wide
- You are the escalation point for issues related to IT internal systems and you manage, mentor, support, and further develop employees
