Full Stack Product Engineer at Change (Tallinn, Estonia)

Who is Change?

We are looking for:



  • Background with a back-end MVC framework - Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot preferred

  • Experience with developing in a modern front-end framework, React is preferred

  • Experience with relational databases, writing SQL queries and designing schemas

  • Vouch for test driven development (TDD), and the desire to write tests

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs

  • Experience in distributed and concurrent systems, knowing the tradeoffs between stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous architectures

  • Love - you have to build your products with love these days. Happy to talk to customers to figure out what to build next

  • Taking strong ownership of the code you ship - engineers are expected to take full responsibility for the product quality - i.e. they write automated tests to ensure their code works correctly and do real-time production monitoring and fix any issues that come up. There is no manual QA - If CI is green, code in master is automatically deployed to production.


Nice to have:



  • Passion for technology, product and user experience

  • Experience with Devops - setting up infrastructure & CI (AWS would be awesome)

  • “I did it all for the customer” type of attitude because we strive to excellent user experience

  • Ability to work independently and deliver your own solutions to problems

  • Broad understanding of the Minimum Viable Product concept & conversion rates

  • Knowledge of payment platforms, crypto & blockchain *thingies*

  • Understanding of Agile development, Scrum/Kanban and particularly Lean methodologies
