You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing and delivering functional and technical enhancements for applications
- Assessing effort required from the team to deliver the solution taking into account the interactions and impacts on other Amadeus products
- Supporting business analysts, quality assurance and working closely with the other software engineers in the team
- Participating in defect investigation/resolution as well as contributing to the overall product quality, test strategy and system stability
- Providing status updates to stakeholders throughout the development cycle
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A post-secondary degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field
- To be a passionate problem solver, always thinking of new ways to approach complex challenges
- Strong C++ experience
- RDMS/SQL (Oracle preferred)
- Unix/Linux
- Python or Java are a bonus
