About the role
As a mid-level or senior developer we are looking for someone who can:
- Be adaptable in their role and willing to learn new skills and technologies
- Take an active role in the agile process, helping to ensure sprints are successful
- Be aware of customer customer and stakeholder needs
- Notice and raise problems and concerns quickly
Required skills
You must have the following skills:
- Proficiency in Javascript, CSS and HTML
- A good knowledge of web security vulnerabilities
- An understanding of web accessibility guidelines
- Working knowledge of git and Github
- Basic understanding of HTTP requests
Desirable skills
We would also appreciate knowledge or interest in the following:
- React or other web frameworks
- Automated testing
- UX principles
- Website perforamnce optimisation
- Backend servers, particularly Node.js
- Databases, particularly Mongo DB
- Linux command line
