The team:
The Salesforce team at Indeed leverages Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to provide our Sales and Client Success organizations with the capabilities, functionality, automation, and workflows they need to engage with our customers, to provide a great customer experience, and to be effective and productive. We partner closely with these internal customers to identify, plan, design, and implement high-impact projects that leverage all of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform. We are responsible for the core architecture and data of the Salesforce instance and our project teams are cross-functional and collaborative. We follow Agile and iterative processes.
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Your job:
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for building and delivering business solutions within Salesforce to support Sales, Client Success, Finance, Marketing, and other departments. You'll collaborate with your cross-functional team and partner with internal customers to explore business needs and offer and evaluate solutions that implement the application functionality needed to help Indeed grow. You will help various teams in drawing the most value from the Salesforce environment through the creation of processes, APIs, and other business tools.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in discoveries with key stakeholders to outline requirements
- Own feature delivery process from beginning to end, including documentation, system operational tasks, and declarative application development work
- Assist with development and deployment of training and training materials and demo new functionality to stakeholders
- Help team become more efficient through continuous process improvement
- Drive user adoption of newly implemented features and functionality
- Evaluate and integrate newly released features and enhancements from seasonal Salesforce releases
- Support the resolution of production issues in Salesforce

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years with Salesforce in an admin or development capacity, supporting large-scale implementations
- Salesforce Admin (201) certification
- Demonstrated experience working independently to implement application functionality in Salesforce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, drive decisions, and communicate results effectively
- Ability to work under pressure, organize, and prioritize responsibilities
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning
Preferred:
- 2+ years experience with Salesforce Lightning
- Additional Salesforce certifications
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications such as InContact, Zendesk, 8x8, Tableau
