What You'll Accomplish
- Helping build out our testing infrastructure
- Working within our product engineering team to test and validate new features, as they’re released to customers
- Working to constantly improve our QA environment
- Working with Trello boards to improve and streamline FortressIQ development process
- Test and promote release candidate builds to production ready docker containers
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and test FortressIQ applications in any cloud provider infrastructures, such as GCP, Azure, AWS and Minikube
- Generate Jenkins CI/CD pipeline definitions to automate applications and services builds and deployments
What You'll Need
- The ideal candidate is used to automating repetitive tasks, has worked on top-flight QA infrastructure for Enterprise products, and most importantly, is creative
- Strong testing and software engineering experience, preferably on high-volume customer-facing software-as-a-service products
- Hands-on experience with testing and debugging modern web browsers and extensions
- Experience in testing HTTP/HTTPS, REST endpoints
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and PostgreSQL database
- Experience in creating custom test automation scripts and using test automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with many of today’s best QA, testing and automation platforms—and the knowledge to know when to use which
- Experience with CI/CD tools, containers, and modern commercial cloud providers
Bonus Points
- Experience working in agile software development environment
- Experience in web load and stress test automations
