Bird’s eye view of your role – My client is one of the leading gaming and hospitality company based out of Las Vegas, NV. They are seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Developer to be a part of their scrum team. This team is responsible for building their innovative and industry leading website using Adobe Experience Manager and React JS. Their current stack is built on top of AEM 6.4 using Java 8 with a front end handled by a React JS application written in both JavaScript and TypeScript. What you will do in this role:
- Build websites using Adobe Experience Manager, and ReactJS
- Design and develop components using AEM technologies for AEM authors (Java, Sightly, Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
- Design and develop user facing components using ReactJS and Redux
- Create UI components from scratch, reuse and improve existing components in ReactJS and TypeScript (JS only experience is okay if you’re willing to learn TS)
- Write unit tests (Junit, Jest), integration and end to tests (Cypress)
- Expectation for team members to participate in an on-call rotation to support the operation of the company’s websites product
- Both give and receive feedback in code review to maintain the highest quality product possible and encourage the growth and learning of yourself and other team members
You will definitely possess these technical skills –
- A passion for DRY, well-composed, modular and scalable architecture
- Experience with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews
- Strong understanding of CSS with a passion for creating beautiful UI
- Strong understanding of JavaScript with several projects under your belt
- Strong understanding of Java with several projects under your belt
- Deep understanding of VCS (git) and different git workflows
- Experience with tooling/configurations for Continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
Nice for you to have –
Expert level Typescript skills is a plus
Experience working with AEM implementing enterprise level CMS Solutions
