We are a Scrum team who works in two week sprints. We use both JIRA for our Agile board and Service Now to handle high priority issues. Our current stack is built on top of AEM 6.4 using Java 8 with a front end handled by a ReactJS application written in both JavaScript and TypeScript.
What you will do in this role
-Build websites using Adobe Experience Manager, and ReactJS
-Build backend services written in Java using Sling servlets to expose data for the front end application
-Design and develop components using AEM technologies for AEM authors (Java, Sightly, Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
-Write unit tests (Junit, Jest), integration and end to tests (Cypress)
-Expectation for team members to participate in an on-call rotation to support the operation of the Station’s websites product
-Both give and receive feedback in code review to maintain the highest quality product possible and encourage the growth and learning of yourself and other team members
Required Skills:
A passion for DRY, well-composed, modular and scalable architecture
Experience with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning
Strong understanding of Java with several projects under your belt
Deep understanding of VCS (git) and different git workflows
Experience with tooling/configurations for Continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
Azure Pipelines/Jenkins preferred
Strong soft skills with an ability to communicate and clarify business requirements to meet Sprint commitments
Strongly Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager implementing enterprise level CMS solutions
