Senior Automation Engineer at Evidation Health (Santa Barbara, CA)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and building custom test automation infrastructure


• Building complex automated tests (Backend APIs, web & mobile UIs, E2E)


• Setup & maintenance of various services & tools to support test automation (e.g. CI/CD, custom test automation services, etc.)


• Working closely with the rest of the engineering team as well as the product team to evaluate and develop best practices & solutions


• Assisting with system testing, troubleshooting, and releases

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or in a related technical field


• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) on an individual basis, as well as with larger groups


• 5+ years of software QA/Test and/or development/automation experience


• 5+ years of coding experience (Ruby on Rails, Python, and/or Javascript preferred)


• Familiar with the latest test frameworks, tools, and test automation approaches


• Web and mobile UI test automation experience


• Full stack integration testing


• Release management experience (Github, Jenkins, etc) a big plus

Ideal Candidates:

• Are more than capable of writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and black box testing whatever comes your way, but you much prefer coding/automating testing


• Are passionate about test automation and have experience not only using test tools and building automated tests, but designing & building custom test infrastructure to support automated testing


• Have Xcode/Swift iOS development and/or testing (XCUITest) experience


• Thrive in fast-paced, autonomous environments, where your contributions make a difference
