As a Magnopus Unity Software Engineer, you’ll work on cutting-edge VR/MR/AR applications which allow people to connect deeper to the world around us in order to feel touched, inspired, educated and entertained. The position is full time in our Downtown Los Angeles office and will be using the latest technology from Oculus Quest to ARKit.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Implementation of interactive 3D experiences across AR/VR platforms
- End-to-end development of new features from concept through implementation and testing to deployment
- Working with our team of amazing artists to bring Hollywood grade visuals to VR
- Writing clean, well documented, testable code
To be successful in this position, you need to have:
- 3+ years experience developing 3D games/experiences using Unity, Unreal, or another game engine
- Experience releasing at least one commercial 3D game or AR/VR application as part of a team
- Proficiency in linear algebra and general 3D mathematics
- Experience integrating cloud services with game engines, e.g. using RESTful APIs
- 4+ years experience with C# and .NET Framework
- Implemented and maintained automated test suites for production code
- Experience collaborating with other developers in an Agile environment: communication, version control, issue tracking
It would also be great if you had experience with:
- Experience with multiple programming languages, especially C++, Python, or JavaScript
- Development on embedded platforms such as mobile (Android, iOS) or game consoles
- Proficiency with 3D tools, e.g. 3ds Max, Maya
- Shader development using GLSL/HLSL/Vulkan/Metal
- Engine-level development or rendering development with OpenGL/Direct3D or similar
