This opportunity allows the right candidate to work as part of a collaborative, multi-discipline team in support of U.S. Government and provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of network engineering and mobility engineering.
Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this position
Some Responsibilities:
- Develops future technology and architectural advancements to support mobility architectural strategy, technology migration, integration and evolution.
- Applies knowledge of enterprise IT needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensures these are consistent with the Agency CIO enterprise technical architecture (ETA)
- Demonstrated ability to apply the engineering design process to discover innovative methods to solve technical problems and meet mobility requirements.
- Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new mobility technology into the Sponsor infrastructure.
- Strong background designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
- Experience with VPN technologies and protocols including IPSEC and SSL
- Experience configuring and trouble-shooting LAN Switches, Routers, and Firewalls and VPN concentrators.
