React Software Engineer at Yembo (San Diego, CA)

About Us

Yembo is a funded startup making artificial intelligence technology accessible to the masses. We are looking for a talented frontend web developer to join our team. You will report directly to the CTO and have the opportunity for growth as the team and company grows. Yembo's web platform is the delivery mechanism for our AI technology.

We use a modern technology stack and like to automate away everything that wastes our time.

We are looking for 2 Front End engineers to join the team to design and build out human/AI interfaces.

About You

• You have shipped production grade software used by 1000's of users 
• You have at-least 2 years experience working on React/Redux. 
• Proficiency with consuming REST APIs
• Comfortable with version control systems, preferably git
• Experience with managing app state and asynchronous operations with Redux and Redux Saga
• Expertise with responsive design
• You know how to work with an Agile team with a modern CI/CD environment. 
• You write clean, modern, and testable code with good documentation.
• You thrive in a fast paced environment and are truly excited to work on a revolutionary Artificial Intelligence product for old-school industries.
• You are a voracious learner. You're quick to share tips and tools you've picked up and you're open to learning new things from your fantastic co-workers.
• Fluent in English and have fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written
