POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Director, Business Intelligence Finance is responsible for developing and ensuring the successful aggregation, analysis and publication of all performance and financial data to support strategic business objectives. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead the development of managed analytics programs to meet emerging customer needs, including analytics strategy, operating modeling design, and talent.Act as a subject matter expert around Revenue Cycle, Payer and Provider Analytics, including demonstrating an understanding of prioritized analytic use cases and trends around use of healthcare data sets for driving innovative insights.Design and architect managed analytics programs, including internally developed and outsourced analytics functions.Partner with key stakeholders to develop organizational and departmental dashboards, KPI measures and other tracking tools as they relate to set goals and initiatives.On-going monitoring of service line volume and financial performance, including but not limited to the analytical tools and dashboards required for executive decision-making.Develop analytical insights for the areas of revenue analytics, clinical and quality, managed care and payer analysis, and service line volumes.Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of management tools for analyzing financial, clinical, and operational results using enterprise tools.Serves as point of contact and resource for succinct operational and financial performance updates, as well as data-driven recommendations of growth projects.Work in fast-paced, dynamic environment with high impact on provider contracting and claims pricing, while using financial reporting/analysis, data modeling, statistical modeling, data science, or geospatial/reimbursement analysis experience from previous positions.Prioritize and direct the planning and execution of enterprise-wide analytics projects and strategic initiatives, supporting the translation of business goals into actionable solutions.Design and maintain workflow to accommodate the preparation and analytics of the following:
      Revenue Cycle Analytics including Account Receivable, Denial Management, Gross and Net Revenue Analysis Pro-forma projections for potential contracts and acquisitionsDiligence revenue review of potential contracts and acquisitionsManaged care contract financial impact analysisFacility / provider performance reporting
    Proactively and continuously assess the relevant marketplaces and dynamics, customers and competitors to enable strategic decision-making regarding products and business operations.Review and analyze revenue estimates developed by M&A group of potential acquisition targets.Perform other duties as assigned.Regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Education / Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Analytics or related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of ten (10) years of Revenue Cycle Management and Financial analysis experience required. Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience required. Computer Skills: Knowledge of data warehousing, database structures and query writing/report building. Advanced technical skill sufficient to develop complex, but concise and user-friendly reports. MS Office Suite, BI Capabilities: SQL Server Reporting Services Report Builder, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, McKesson Practice Focus Reporting System. Experience with Revenue Cycle Applications.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Language Skills:Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to successfully write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public.Reasoning Ability: Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Other Qualifications:Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, interview business leads and present developments and findings to upper management. Exceptional ability to understand and analyze user requirements as they relate to organizational goals and objectives. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
