Location: Berlin-Mitte
Start: ASAP, full-time
Your Tasks:
- Lead the generation of product requirements documentation for hardware devices and services in order to communicate with external manufacturers and internal stakeholders
- Work with multiple teams to drive new products and features through the development and manufacturing process
- Take full ownership of the product build schedule (manufacturing) as well as coordinate when needed the on-site manufacturing support
- Work closely with our hardware and QA teams to provide reliable release, build and test schedules
- Contribute to product roadmaps based on our business goals and metrics
- Participate in product definition activities and develop initial project plan estimated and baseline project plans
- Establish processes to optimize project communication and product development that keep marketing and engineering feedback loops as efficient as possible
- Develop and manage positive working relationships with marketing managers, tech engineering, operation leads, team members and customer support
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience managing moderate to complex projects
- 3-5 years of direct experience in hardware project management and development experience of designing, developing and shipping physical products
- Experience working with outsourced design and manufacturers
- Highly skilled in project scheduling, planning and tracking
- Experience with resource and project cost estimating
- Strong awareness of the market dynamics and product trends in the Smart Home and IoT market
Bonus points if
- You have an Electrical or Electronics engineering background as well as direct experience with PCB / Plastics manufacturing
- You have direct experience developing IoT products such as IP cameras, sensors or smart home hubs
