The Data Capture team within the Data Engineering organization is a crucial part of Audibles mission to unleash the power of the spoken word. We build systems to understand our customers experience and continuously improve it, capturing and synthesizing information to enable insight. We partner with business intelligence, marketing, data science, product management and senior leadership to understand their strategies and enable them with rich data in accessible systems.
Our growing team is looking for a product manager whos passionate about creating valuable data from our growing product family. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and drive data solutions for strategic product initiatives and launches
· Raise the bar for technology, product and business teams in practices for data-driven excellence through education & demonstration
· Connect technology, product and analytics by being the expert on the data lifecycle from production to consumption
· Deeply understand current business priorities, collaborating cross-functionally to arrive at resourceful strategies, ensuring that critical feature launches are measurable against meaningful success metrics
· Partner with data engineering leaders to identify & articulate data technology requirements for a wider range of technical teams to deliver, following through from opportunity to launch
· Envision opportunities for continuous improvement in data capture, argue for them and lead them into reality by collaborating with a variety of domain leaders
· Contribute to the data excellence strategy at Audible by building a roadmap, including technology, processes and maturity planning
· Advise business, product and tech leadership and teams on quantified product development, staying up to date with industry leaders and bringing recommendations back to the team




BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


· Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical domain, or 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a product management role
· Ability to build consensus among disparate teams across technology and business, navigate diverging interests, and identify compromises while upholding high standards
· Experience launching new products or significant features




PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


· Ability to work independently, enthusiasm to collaborate with and learn from a diverse group of colleagues with different skills and expertise
· Experience with web & app analytics, especially with Adobe Analytics
· Expertise in analytics and competency with data engineering, database management and AWS data technology
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to lay out a vision, facilitate and shape debate with empathy
· Proven ability to use analytical insights to drive decision making
