EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years professional work experience with modern front or backend web technologies, including positions involving build support teams.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Frontend Technologies
Developers applying for front-end positions will need experience with most of the following:
- Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks, preferably AngularJS + Bootstrap
- Strong knowledge of modern frontend unit test frameworks, preferably Protractor
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript Patterns
- Good knowledge of JavaScript debugging techniques
- Working knowledge of Selenium and WebDriver technologies
- Working knowledge of CSS Frameworks - Less, Sass, Stylus
- Working knowledge of Responsive Design
- Working knowledge of UX Technologies - Figma, Sketch
- Working knowledge of frontend build systems Webpack, Gulp
- Working knowledge of version control systems Git
Backend Technologies
Developers applying for back-end positions will need experience with most of the following:
- Strong knowledge of Java 1.8 or above
- Strong knowledge of modern Java frameworks, preferably Spring Boot or Cloud
- Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks Junit, Mockito, Spock
- Strong knowledge of Object Relational Mapping technologies - Hibernate, Spring Data
- Strong knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL preferably with Oracle DB
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL Databases preferably with Cassandra or MongoDB
- Good knowledge of Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) or Test-Driven Design (TDD) for testing
- Good knowledge of Domain-Driven Design principles and service architectures
- Working knowledge of RESTful API development and documentation techniques
- Working knowledge of version control systems Git
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.
- Professional programming certification in the Java programming language is a plus.
