Our client is seeking a Data Analyst/Report Writer to join their team. A qualified candidate has solid SQL skills and works under the direction of a more senior team member to complete assignments as they build experience in the company's infrastructure and technologies, and the reporting needs of internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into intuitive reporting solutions
- Write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting objects
- Develop reports using T-SQL and reporting tools
- Develop complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for reporting purposes
- Create ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Complete performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Work with a business intelligence tool and source control to publish reports
- Use complex data reconciliation to validate data sources against report results
