We're partnering with a major client in Digital Transformation on their hunt for UI Architect's in Atlanta.
You will be responsible for architecture, high level design, framework design, laying down guidelines and best practices, coding and unit testing, code reviews, providing solution to non-functional requirements (like compatibility, performance), interaction with client, etc. with incredible fortune 500 companies in the Finance and eCommerce space.
Your day to day:
- Technical Architecture of web application.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
- Understanding of modern UI frameworks in general with ability to analyze requirements and recommend the most suitable frameworks
- Troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks especially in front end layer
- Code Review and optimization of modern UI applications developed using front end UI development technologies JavaScript, Angular 2+ / ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3 and other frameworks like JQuery,
- Bootstrap, SASS/LESS, packaging tools (Node JS, Gulp, Grunt, Bower, etc.)
- Highly experienced with test driven development approach specifically on automated unit testing in Angular using Jasmine / Karma / Protractor
- Code Review and optimization of server side applications developed using back-end programming languages Java, JDBC, Microservices, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, REST Web Services, Spring Framework
- Experience in working with Agile Development methodology and familiar with the development life cycle and with relevant tools
Qualifications:
- Expert in front-end web development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3, Angular 2+ / ReactJS
- Expert programmer in Java
- Thorough understanding of Java EE architecture, with a focus on JPA, and JAX-RS web services
- Understanding of AJAX, object-oriented JavaScript, the DOM and JSON
- Experience writing RESTful web services
- Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS database design
- Experience with virtualization technologies like Oracle VM and VMWare
- Have spent time as part of an agile development team (preferably Scrum)
- 12+ years of industry experience
