3D Hubs is disrupting manufacturing. We automate design processes for Engineers in the Aerospace, Automotive and Consumer Electronics industries. As part of the growing team, 3D Hubs now needs its first QA Engineer to automate the testing of our customers’ interaction with the platform.
This is a job where you'll work closely with our CTO to build out a toolkit to analysing and test the performance of the 3DHubs.com platform, currently used by Engineers all over the world. Ensuring that our 'critical flow' is functional all the way to the checkout, you will have experience in designing a Test strategy to ensure that a similarly complex web-based product can handle up to 100,000 daily users. As well as designing and implementing both automated and manual testing strategies, you'll be an integral part of our team working with Product & Engineering to suggest new ideas for improving our platform. When new features are scheduled to be developed and released, you'll will work with the Product team to map out a testing/deployment strategy. And over time as we grow, you will be involved in outlining a Test roadmap with the CTO to hire more Test Engineers. Our Tech Stack: Selenium/JUnit & TestNG; Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy); PostgreSQL/Aurora; RabbitMQ, Docker; AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, etc.; Git and Github.
What you’ll do...
- Build out the Test stack for our web-based products, used by Engineers all over the world
- Design, develop and run automated tests
- Analyse the 3DHubs.com platform, and design the Test strategy to it can handle up to 100,000 daily users
- Ensure that our 'critical flow' is always functional all the way to the checkout
What it takes...
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 2-3 years of professional experience in QA automation
- Experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG is required
- Experience in writing and executing test plans and test cases for enterprise-class software products.
- Ability to work quickly but thoroughly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
