Optomi, in partnership with our direct client in the SaaS data analytics industry, is seeking a Sr. Python Developer who knows Java ideally and object-oriented programming, to work on a brand new team processing very large amounts of data and figuring out how to streamline everything.

- 5 years of Python focused development experience
- 2 years of Java development experience is a plus
- Experience building large applications in the cloud
- Experience in 2 or more of the following techs: Airflow, ELK, K8, Docker, Linux, Xcalar or Minio
Key Responsibilities:
- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
- Prepares solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming
