The DevOps Manager at iCapital Network will lead our infrastructure oversight and automation efforts as it relates to our production AWS infrastructure. This is both a hands-on and leadership position where you will:
• Propose strategy and vision for the continued and rapid expansion of our AWS infrastructure.
• Prioritize and manage to completion agreed upon initiatives
• Manage a single (for now) Senior DevOps Engineer direct report
• Work closely with the CISO, SVP of Technology, and CTO on a daily basis
• Assist with infrastructure capacity planning
• Play a hands-on role in implementing solutions
Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of DevOps, TechOps, or Network Operations experience
• 5+ years of experience with various AWS services
• Strong UNIX system administration skills (should be familiar with multiple Linux distributions)
• Experience with configuration automation frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Perl, Python, and/or Ruby
• Experience with virtualization platforms (OpenStack, KVM, VMware, or VirtualBox)
• Experience with databases (both SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with BGP, OSPF routing protocols
• Experience with network switching (L2/L3 switching, VLANs, STP, datacenter cross-connects)
• Experience with IPSec VPNs and maintaining large set of firewall ACLs
• Experience with network connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience with network management software (RANCID, SNMP)
• Experience with managing external datacenter vendors and telecom providers
