Qualifications needed for Senior Systems Engineer Role:
Enterprise Windows Administration Experience
- MCSA 2012 Equivalency Certification NOT required but engineer expected competence at this level minimum
- MCSA Windows 10 Equivalency Certification NOT required but engineer expected competence at this level minimum
- Active Directory Conceptual Understanding of Functional Interplay of:
- DNS
- DHCP
- GPO
- Multiple Forest Administration
Enterprise Systems Management Experience
- PowerShell
- CMD/Batch Scripting
- VBScript
- Remote systems administration skills (scripted or tool based)
- Application Packaging experience (Platforms and repackaging experience would be nice to reference in candidate submissions)
- Automation framework(s) (SCORCH, vRealize, FinalBuilder)
- Monitoring solutions framework(s) (SCOM, Solarwinds)
Troubleshooting Experience
- Holistic problem analysis and resolution (OS, application, hardware, network)
- Performance analysis and summarization
- Log file analysis and summarization
- Above average research skills
- Proficiency with Sysinternals Tools Suite (ProcMon)
Development Experience
- PowerShell script development (Ability to develop from scratch - NOT redevelopment of code found online)
- VBScript development
- SQL development
- C#, VisualBasic, .NET, JavaScript
- Any additional/alternative language development skills are a plus
Application Support
- Single Sign On (NetIQ SecureLogin desired)
- Familiarity with 2FA (DUO)
- Office 2010/Office 2013/Office 2016 Suite support (packaging, delivery, operational maintenance)
- SQL server support
Citrix Administration Knowledge of key product areas:
- PVS
- XenApp / XenDesktop
- UPM
- IIS/WI/StoreFront
