Sr Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at Flexdrive (Atlanta, GA)

The Sr BI Developer will take the lead to manage the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data for the entire Flexdrive organization. This role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, ensuring value is delivered to stakeholders, maintaining the DW, and ensuring consistent and timely reporting to internal and external customers

              This role will require a strong background of working with business partners to deliver solutions that move the company forward in 3 key areas: data accuracy, process automation, and generating key insights from operational data. The primary function of this role is to be an IT resource for business partners, implementing solutions that directly impact these partners, and advising the business on scaling/growth strategies.

The selected candidate will:

·       Design, build and deploy data warehouse, financial and accounting BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools).

·       Maintain and support data analytics platforms (primarily Tableau), translate business needs to technical specifications, develop dashboard reports from relational databases, and create tools to store data.

·       Evaluate and improve existing BI systems, develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses, as well as perform unit testing and troubleshooting.

·       Collaborate with teams to integrate systems, create visualizations and reports for requested projects, and develop and update technical documentation.

·       Analyze available data, work with business users to gather specifications for data and report requirements, identify data sources to extract business information for reporting purposes, and identify and recommend best sources for building reports.

·       Identify best practices and recommend enhancements to communicate metrics through dashboards, and coordinate with the business team on additional data marts to support dashboard reporting, including coordination of data validation with business users.

Requisite Skills:

·       Strong experience with SQL

·       Strong experience with Tableau or similar visualization tool

·       Strong ETL and data architecture knowledge

·       A strong track record of delivering business value through IT solutions

·       Proven experience building consensus among a diverse set of stakeholders

·       Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Environment
