Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent relevant work experience / certifications

• 10+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment, 8+ years in a management role

• Extensive experience and knowledge around the enterprise mobility landscape (Enterprise Mobility Management, vendors, associated technologies)

• Strong familiarity and enthusiasm for emerging technology, industry trends, best practices

• Employs ingenuity and flexibility to come up with solutions to day to day challenges

• Keen attention to detail

• Professionalism, thoroughness and follow-through

• Creative problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of 12 or more associates in support of companys endpoint infrastructure and web administration environments

• Ownership, engineering, configuration and administration of companys Windows workstation landscape including 6,500 laptops, desktops and Microsoft tablets

• Ownership, engineering, configuration and administration of companys macOS systems including 400 Mac laptops and desktops

• Ownership, engineering, configuration and administration of companys mobility landscape including 7,500 iPhones and iPads

• Ownership and administration of applications and systems including AirWatch, SCCM, Intune, and LogMeIn

• Ensure workstations across the enterprise are in alignment with standards and are adequately patched and maintained in adherence to security standards and protocols

• Ensure that mobility standards and best practices are adhered to across companys mobile landscape

• Configuration and support of companys streaming media video network (News Network) including workstations, video streaming and local Quantum StorNext environment

• Tier 3 support across the Windows, Mac and iOS landscapes and ensuring that required SLAs for service delivery are met and maintained

• Oversee the successful completion and implementation of near-term initiatives and projects including corporate-wide Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration, SCCM environment upgrade, web hardening effort, iOS/macOS cache server deployment and a workstation refresh project

• Draw upon technical knowledge and experience to provide expertise to IT Department personnel and teams on complex projects and initiatives, resolve challenging infrastructure, OS and systems issues, and assist in making informed decisions

• Translate business needs into technical solutions

• Develop solutions using state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies

• Participate in conferences, forums, etc. to stay current with industry trends and advancements

• Perform research around new technology and its integration into applications and systems

• Apply communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues

• Collaborate effectively with other functional areas around IT as well as third parties such as vendors to develop and implement new technologies and solutions
