Working closely with our clients, Consulting professionals design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance. While the specific type of consulting work they do can vary, it generally aligns to management consulting, systems integration consulting or technology consulting. Typically, Consultants work at client sites, which often requires travel.
Job Description
Accentures Intelligent Cloud & Infrastructure (ICI) Consultants contribute to the project management and provide technical expertise to partner with our clients to plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise scale end-to-end infrastructure transformation solutions. ICI professionals can span multiple areas of expertise as they work with different client teams on different engagements. ICI Professional are infrastructure generalists with an expertise in one or more of our core practice areas: Workplace and Collaboration, Network Technology, Service Management and Cloud/Hosting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate on a team designing, building and/or testing infrastructure and cloud infrastructure focused solutions.
  • Develop and deliver strategies and solutions for enterprise infrastructure operations.
  • Thoroughly document all facets of infrastructure solutions.
  • Apply Accenture methodology, Accenture reusable assets, and previous work experience to delivery consistently high-quality work.
  • Deliver written or oral status reports regularly.
  • Stay educated on new and emerging market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.
  • Adapt to existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goals.
  • Use considerable judgment to contribute to solutions and seek guidance on complex problems.
  • Manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an independent contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Extensive travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications
All Accenture ICI Consultants are expected to meet the following general qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree.
  • 100% Travel
  • Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience serving as a team lead, technical lead and/or delivery lead.
  • Minimum of 2 years infrastructure/network discovery, design, build, and migration experience.
Accenture ICI Consultants are expected to meet the below qualifications in one or more of the following focus areas:
Workplace and Collaboration
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
    • Collaboration Technologies (O365, Email, Skype, Cisco WebEx, G-Suite)
    • Mobility Technologies (InTune, Airwatch)
    • Laptop Asset/Patch Management (SCCM, Jamf, Lamda, HPCA)
    • Single Sign-on (Microsoft, Okta)
    • Core Workplace Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services)
    • Cloud Storage (OneDrive, Box, Google Drive)
    • Computer Workspace Lifecycle Management (Upgrade management for Windows, OSX)
    • Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, Citrix, Azure, AWS)
Network Technology
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 2 of the following areas:
    • LAN/WAN Technologies (Viptela/Velocoud/Meraki)
    • Data Center Network Technologies (load balancers, firewalls)
    • Network programming (REST API)
Service Management
  • Mini
  • mum of 2 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas: Inf

    • astructure Automation, including: IT
      • t
      • eams in identifying and executing automation opportunities Infr
      • astructure-as-code, orchestration of scripted processes, and/or containers Use
      • of agile approaches to create and execute automation initiatives
    • Service Management Transformation
    • Cloud Operating Model
    • ServiceNow, Service Assurance Toolsets
  • Possess an understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, ITIL guidelines and how operations automation helps improve IT services and ITSM processes
Cloud/Hosting
  • Minimum of 2 years Infrastructure (Server, Storage, and Database) discovery, design, build, and migration experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
    • Server Operating Systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.)
    • Storage (EMC, NetApp, Glacier, S3, etc.)
    • Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
    • Cloud Computing and Storage (AWS, Azure)
    • Workload Migration Automation Tools (Double-Take, Racemi, etc.)
    • Cloud Management Platforms (vRealize, Gravitant, etc.)
    • Infrastructure Automation (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
    • Collaboration (Microsoft SharePoint, Skype for Business, Yammer, OneDrive)
    • Service Management as it relates to Cloud/Hosting (ITSM, ITIL, Service Now)
Preferred Skills
  • Infrastructure technology certifications including but not limited to AWS/Azure/Microsoft Collaboration/Cisco
  • Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience.
Professional Skills Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and thought processes.
