Our mobile app team is currently seeking a QA Software Tester to join our growing testing department. We're looking for someone who can advocate for the customer and help shape our app to win in the mobile age; someone who can work alongside our team of iOS and Android developers to achieve the vision of our product and design team.
What you'll do:
- Advocate for quality throughout the mobile software development cycle
- Define, compose, and evaluate test plans for our mobile apps with global presence
- Translate business requirements into functional tests
- Creatively try to break our app before our customers do
- Investigate, document, and appropriately escalate bugs
- Propose design improvements and advocate for our end users
- Help product and release managers understand the quality of an app in development
- Drive process, technical, and operational improvements
- Contribute to automation and increase automation coverage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Good familiarity with Android and iOS mobile devices
- Experience (2+ years) with Android and iOS testing
- Experience (2+ years) with Automation
- Experience with test case management tools, test case management and test design
- Aptitude to learn and contribute to native mobile device automation
- Experience with Agile / Scrum
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Solid ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adaptive personality and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
