Work Youll Do
Our Senior Manager or Specialist Leader for Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to contribute to the growth and development of Deloittes Cyber Risk practice in a variety of ways, including:
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
Client Management: Develop and sustain relationships with clients executives and senior management
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
Practice Development & Eminence: Make meaningful contributions to the development of new and improved industry based solutions and methodologies to grow the practice
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Specific work includes:
Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks and remediation methods to mitigate risks
Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects
Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability and manage engagement economics
Demonstrate ability to identify and address client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to the manager
Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, Deloitte Advisory products and service lines

Required Skills
Minimum of 10 years work history and advanced understanding of connected vehicle and cyber risk management in at least two of the following areas:
Internet of Things (IOT) architecture and security
Clinical engineering for medical devices
Embedded systems security
Securing products and devices within the connected vehicle eco system
Minimum of 6 years work history and advanced understanding of business processes and cyber risk management in two or more areas such as:
IT strategy
IT program management
Cyber security
Service delivery and operations
Third party management
Data management
Application management/SDLC
Service continuity management
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements around cyber risk management (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, etc.)
Minimum 4 years designing security for infrastructure, network and application architectures
Deep understanding of automotive industry
BA/BS in cyber security, information security, engineering, computer science, information technology, information management, information sciences, business administration, or related field preferred
Up to 80% travel is typical
Preferred Skills:
5+ years implementing security solutions
CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification a plus
Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Prior Big 4 or other consulting experience desired
