We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst-Consumer Product Analytics to join our Consumer Product team. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business trends and consumer behavior data to identify opportunities for optimization of the consumer journey and our products with the goal of providing the best consumer experience and increase visitor engagement, repeat visits, and conversion. You will drive complex reporting needs like building KPI dashboards for product owners and senior leadership teams and will perform complex deep dive analysis to troubleshoot or identify the root cause for site issues, changes to conversion, and other KPIs.

A Day in the Life
Imagine this as your day to day role and responsibilities
You conduct thorough analyses to develop/validate consumer segmentations, develop and compute consumer value metrics and support ad-hoc requests for data extraction, modeling and analysis cross-functionally
You use advanced statistical, econometrics, and quantitative analysis techniques to develop an in-depth understanding of consumers
You prepare clear and concise data visualizations and presentations to enhance business decision making; experience leveraging Tableau or similar software is required
You are responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of dashboards for the consumer product team including product owners
You work across the organization and leverage cross-functional teams to provide expert analytical service
You are responsible for working cross-functionally (product, engineering, design, IT, etc.) to deliver analytics support for the consumer product organization as needed
You validate and update analyses and dashboards periodically and provide reports as needed
What We Need from You
You have successfully completed your undergraduate degree required with preference for quantitative education and degrees in economics, mathematics, statistics, etc. Master's degree a plus, additional education (MOOC, bootcamps, etc) in data science and analytics will be considered with proof of certification
Experience working in support of product development, collecting requirements, and delivering insight for product improvement and supporting the development of analytics solutions leveraging tools like Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online
2+ years experience working with SQL
Experience leveraging web traffic and consumer analytics tools (Ex. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap etc.)
Familiarity with Optimizely, Google Optimize, or similar A/B testing platforms
Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
Comfortable narrating data-driven insights and translating technical concepts into simple terminology for a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies
Knowledge of best practices and principles for data visualization, dashboard and report design, marketing analytics, and data mining

Masters degree in a quantitative field
Some experience with Python and exposure to data mining, ETL, usage of data warehouses as well as advanced Excel skills
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other Google products
Direct work experience improving data integrity for web analytics systems
