WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop clean, reusable, and testable code with performance in mind
- Optimize applications for time complexity and ease of extensibility
- Utilize REST API best practices for an easily scalable user interface
- Collaborate with support team to identify and address bugs and help deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and directly hear feedback from end users
- Maintain design and progress information in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
WHO YOU ARE:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development
- Real world experience in RESTful and Microservices architectures, JavaScript frameworks and tools specifically React, Angular, Node
- Experience implementing complex/ dynamic web user interfaces with HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Familiar with AWS
- Experience connecting with relational and NoSQL databases
- Must have past experience clearly communicating to design any limitations or constraints with UX visualizing the dynamic data
- Past experience using code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket
- Experience in Agile / scrum methodologies
- Independent problem solver with superior technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with AWS API
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop/InDesign
- Experience with Scala
