Were looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Payments & Risk team!
Whats my day-to-day?
You'll work as a backend developer on a small team that's creating new tools and processes to help identify suspicious behavior on our high-trafficked sites.
You will design and develop server-side apps that use big data processing to analyze user patterns and inspect millions of text and photo exchanges for fraud and inappropriate content. Ultimately, writing code that keeps Match safe for millions of active users.
Responsibilities:
- Implement all aspects of an application design including but not limited to: high performance design, coding, caching, multithreaded processes, security, encryption, state management, error logging, scalability, code reviews, environment configuration, proper testing procedures, naming standards, etc.
- Analyze requirements and deliver realistic estimates for the implementation of related functionality.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in C# latest versions
- At least 5 years T-SQL and stored procedure development
- .NET Framework 2.0 4.6
- SQL Server 2016 and up
- IIS 7.0 and up
- Windows Server 2012 and up
- Experience with Visual studio 2015/2017, TFS and Git
- Experience developing and supporting Windows Services
- Experience building and integrating with RESTful Web Services and web APIs
- Experience writing unit tests and mocks
- Proven track record of designing effective, scalable, distributed, high performance software and/or e-business systems
- Ability to switch gears, handle competing timelines and adapt to constant change without attitude
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Bonus Points:
- Machine learning and predictive modeling experience.
- Prior experience developing apps with very large volume databases
