Our company is growing rapidly and looking for talented individuals to add to
our team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly-skilled Linux System Administrator with experience in
networking and cloud technologies, programming, security, virtualization, and disaster
recovery. You will collaborate with other team members to design, implement, and
operate Linux based IT infrastructure, both in the cloud and on premises. The ideal
candidate is extremely resourceful and able to troubleshoot problems within the platform
and work to resolve them appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Manage infrastructure, perform system maintenance, and tune performance to
ensure high availability.
Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions.
Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with the team.
Create tools to help the team make the most out of the available infrastructure.
Deploy and maintain third-party software on Linux servers.
Work with customers to gather service requirements and troubleshoot their
day-to-day activities.
Monitor security and operation alerts and take preventive or corrective action to
resolve issues.
Designing, building, and maintaining our Cloud services.
Managing systems integrations.
Continue to seek knowledge and gain expertise in evolving technology and
understand how new technologies could be applied to our services, especially
our Cloud offering.
4+ years of experience in systems administration, programming, troubleshooting,
and maintaining Linux based servers.
Strong scripting skills with PHP, Bash, Perl.
Working knowledge and understanding of current Cloud Computing technologies,
strategies, and solutions (OnApp, Ceph, and Open Stack).
Working knowledge of networking protocols including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP,
HTTP, and BGP routing.
Familiarity with load balancing and firewalls.
High attention to detail.
Deep understanding of IT security with best practices.
Open to being on-call outside of regular working hours as well as occasional
nights and weekends in the office.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to write technical documentation.
Must have initiative and capable of working independently as well as within a
team.
