Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Go-to expert in one area of the code base; understands the broad architecture of the entire system.
Scopes and stages work into well-defined milestones to avoid a monolithic deliverable.
Regularly delivers software on-time and is constantly working to make accurate estimates and delivers on those estimates.
Takes initiative to identify and solve important problems, coordinating with others on cross-cutting technical issues.
Makes others better through code reviews, thorough documentation, technical guidance, and mentoring or serving as a Tech Lead on a project.
Minimum Education
4-year college degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or similar
Experience
Over six years of experience in Microservices technologies using Java & Spring Boot
Deep understanding of a Microservices architecture, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of Microservices in a production environment
Experience designing REST APIs and implementing RESTful web services
Experience in designing data persistence system using NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB)
Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
Good understanding in event processing/messaging, i.e. Rabbit MQ, as well as logging, auditing and metrics
