As a member of the Source Code Management Infrastructure Engineering team, you'll play a big part in designing the technology and enhancements that make it possible for us to provide service to our customers, clients, and businesses around the globe each and every day. You will be responsible for supporting SCM products Aldon, ChangeMan and Endevor across all Lines-Of-Business. The position will work closely with Application Development teams/architects supporting Software Development Life Cycle across platforms and multiple GTI teams to ensure end-to-end testing feasibility in SCM products and high availability.
This high energy, results-oriented job requires a good understanding of Aldon, ChangeMan and Endevor products, a high degree of technical skill and the capacity to quickly gain an understanding of the business processes of multiple Lines of Business Applications.
This role requires a wide variety of
strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or
equivalent experience - Software development experience in
one or more general purpose programming languages: REXX, Cobol, and XML - Experience working with two or more
from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments,
distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large
scale software development, security software development - Understanding
or have experience with agile and lean philosophies - Strong critical
thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication - Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
- Experience with Micro-Focus Changeman & CA Endeavor
- Experience with Micro-Focus SSM tool (Synctrac)
- Experience with z/OS ISPF, JCL and JES2
- Knowledge of DevOps
