Duties: Act as a Senior Software Developer and SME for reporting applications in CDT Client Experience group assist in planning, architecture, analysis, estimate, design and build of multiple enterprise technology solutions that satisfy business requirements for large complex systems by integrating BI tools with Java. Work with data services team to identify sources of data (both internal and 3rd party) for data cleansing, enhancement, enrichment and data warehouse. Participate in cross-functional development/integration projects requiring interaction with end-users and external technology clients. Mentor less experienced team members, perform code reviews, and participate in presentations in architecture review, strategic technology directions, and best practice development. Create automated unit tests using test driven development approach. Support Agile development as scrum master to run a scrum calls with team members across the globe to track and streamline the process of application development and deliveries. Lead the analysis and build with control, stability, resiliency, capacity and performance areas. Deliver code into production environment step by step from SIT, UAT and then Production with zero tolerance for post implementation issues. Assist the team in supporting the application in QA and production environments. Take up production issues reported by CSRs/Operate for developer support and provide an immediate support with possible solutions which will keep business moving. Proactively interact with Operations and Business teams for requirements clarifications, extensions, and planning. Communicate with stakeholder on regular basis and on escalation basis. Make application compliant with firmwide tech mandate, which includes upgrading application stack with latest technology solutions on more resilient, secure, stable environment. Take part in decisions affecting long range organizational goals and strategic planning. Make process/application changes for regulatory requirements like Brexit, EMIR impacted clients.
Minimum education required: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in application development, or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have demonstrated knowledge of financial products F&O, FX, IRS and Credit Derivatives. Must have experience with Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets. Must have experience with Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Multithreading. Must have experience with Business Objects, Business Objects SDK. Must have experience with Restful Webservices, RMI, EJB, JMS and Messaging, IBM MQ Series, Mule ESB and Gemfire cache. Must have experience with Adobe Flex, JQuery, AngularJS UI technologies. Must have experience with Java Script. Must have experience with PL SQL. Must have experience with Oracle. Must have experience with IBM DB2. Must have experience with Shell Scripting. Must have experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git/Subversion, and Sonar. Must have experience with Tomcat. Must have experience with Websphere. Must have experience with Unix and Linux servers. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
