PHP Developer (Production Ops) at Noggin (Sydney, Australia)

Why become a PHP Developer at Noggin?

Noggin's software solutions are not only super smart and super complex; they make the lives of our communities and clients a lot simpler by enabling them to turn chaos into order and manage disruption, smarter. As a result, we need an application support and production operations team that is second to none.

We're looking for a lead PHP Developer to come on board. If you're keen to work on complex, meaningful and interesting software as well as become a part of a smart, capable and dedicated team - then we're the right place for you.

This is an opportunity to really put your LAMP stack skills to the test as you'll be working with exceptionally large and complex software solutions - and you'll need to become well acquainted with them quickly.

What does it take to be a Noggin?

You have an extensive experience as a PHP developer where you've been core to a team of developers supporting enterprise-level, critical applications within an ITIL environment. You have had strong experience with LAMP stack and Linux CLI and you have a knack for getting to the crux of complex problems and coming up with viable solutions quickly.

As our PHP Developer, you'll help drive the success of our production operations team for our flagship product. Longer term, you will start to support our next generation software solutions (built in the latest tech stack) as well.  You're a thinker, a problem solver and a go-getter and you're really keen to take on a new challenge where you can build on your skills.

You are a genuine team player and you're passionate about writing good, clean code. But you're also so much more, you are super smart, you have the 'nerd gene' in spades and you live and breathe technology.

What does success look like in this role?

In your first 3 months, you will have become fully acquainted with our systems, teams and processes as well as being able to effectively contribute ideas and solutions to daily issues.

6 months in, you'll have added significant value in solving some pretty complex problems and you'll be fully conversant with our software solution and systems architecture.

After 12 months, you'll be a highly valued member of the team with a clear career development path towards more senior (and possibly even lead) development roles.

To apply, please use the online application link. For further information or to arrange a confidential discussion, please email talent@noggin.io.

Please note, due to security requirements you must be an Australian Citizen to qualify for this role.
