Infrastructure Security Assurance (ISA) Specialist for CTC Enterprise Security Architecture
Summary
As a Vice President of Cyber security, you possess the knowledge, experience and passion to partner with our technology partners in the firm in the delivery of highly resilient and secure IT services. You will join an Infrastructure Security Assurance (ISA) team within the Cybersecurity Technology and Controls (CTC) organization. Your will provide practical security design guidance tailored to the needs of the total set of solutions that our Technology partners are responsible for delivering. Success will require you to develop meaningful relationships with our technology partners in the Global Technology (GT) organization. Your will focus on providing security and controls leadership to enable our technology partners to build better and more secure services for the firm.
In supporting this work, you will lead by example and earn the trust of the internal team, collaborators from around the world working in our global team of technologists and innovators, and the people and companies whose assets we manage and protect.

Responsibilities
We are seeking an Infrastructure Security Assurance Specialist to collaborate across the GT organization and will participate in structured engagements with our GT partners that provide leadership and consultation in support of practical security controls around enterprise level solutions. The successful candidate will be a strong technologist with a pragmatic view and creative mind, and a natural collaborator with GT security architects, engineers, and developers. The Infrastructure Security Assurance Specialist is expected to communicate effectively through clarity of thought and demonstrated understanding of business and technical requirements.
Specific tasking will include



  • Work with GT teams to deliver practical security controls guidance and solutions to secure GT services.


  • Work with GT teams to produce a comprehensive Threat Model.


  • Work with GT teams to define baselines for securing enterprise services. Document patterns that define what is required to build a secure service.


  • Work with CTC Technology & Architecture to address gaps in the lifecycle management of security baselines.


  • Establish meaningful working relationships with GT delivery teams and use this rapport to streamline delivery of secure solutions for the Firm.


  • Provide security and controls leadership to enable GT teams to build more secure services by influencing the design.


  • Ensure CTC strategies and standards are aligned with and delivered into the GT enterprise services.


  • Guide GT teams through technology and industry changes in security.

Requirements


  • Bachelors or higher degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or a related discipline


  • 5+ years of progressive experience and technical depth in one (or more) of the following technology areas: Data Security, Infrastructure Security, Endpoint/Platform Security, Security Analytics, Automated configuration management, Automated application deployment, and Security testing or compliance frameworks


  • At least one years experience in a group facing off to, or executing solutions with, Audit, Regulatory or technology controls program groups


  • Programming experience in one or more languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Scala, R, etc.)


  • Hands-on experience in building prototypes or full products in Cloud or container based environments


  • Experience with Design Pattern-type approaches to development


  • Experience and thought leadership with platforms designed to manage, deploy or build highly heterogeneous environments at scale.  Advanced expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks


  • Deep fluency in national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry Cybersecurity


  • Seasoned command of multiple disciplines, optimizing Cybersecurity products and services through the lifecycle


  • Recognized expertise in Cybersecurity and Agile, creating competitive advantage through the application of leading-edge technologies and methodologies


  • Strategically oriented and can influence at the group and Firm level as needed


  • Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals

  • Proven ability to successfully reach consensus and move forward when differing views exist around how to provide security controls.

  • Fluency in national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry Cybersecurity


  • Interest in and currency with a wide range of research topics in security technology architectures, computer science research, and emerging startups


  • Active professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP or other similar industry qualification)


  • Advanced expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies, tactics and strategy to protect, detect, respond and recover from attacks


  • Seasoned command of multiple disciplines, optimizing Cybersecurity products and services through the lifecycle
